Loxton Galery
A visit to the Loxton Gallery in Loxton is a must. The beautiful work of many Karoo artists can be seen. For 5 years, Annelise Vorster Meyer exhibited her own work, as well as Karoo artists' work. Come and see the work of John Kramer, Fanie Scholtz, Annelise Vorster Meyer, Gerrie van Tonder, Hannelle Bester, and many more. The Loxton Gallery is located in a beautiful 108-year-old genuine Victorian country house, where the famous writer, Ena Murray grew up. There is jewellery from Tumi, trinkets, and sculpture from Alewyn Vorster. If you want to know more about the history of the town: both Alewyn and Annelise were born and raised here and can tell you about the events from days long ago. There are also interesting photos and books to view.
