Annelise Vorster Meyer
Annelise Vorster Meyer is a Karoo child in heart and soul.
Annelise finds inspiration for her paintings in the openness and silence of the Karoo's landscapes, animals and people. This humble, visually impaired artist regularly surprises us with her beautiful photographs, and her paintings have been distributed all over the world. She has the special talent to involve the viewer in her own observation and special experience of the Karoo. She uses color, texture and composition to bring a piece of heaven into your home or office. Palette knives and oil paint are her preferred medium. Her coveted Karoo photo' has been used by Maroela Media and SABC. She has a B.A. degree in Fine Arts, obtained at the University of Stellenbosch. Annelise's paintings and her bubbly personality are one of the biggest tourist attractions in Loxton.
