Next to the R75 you will find Kleinpoort, a very small friendly Karoo town of Succulent Karoo and Valley Bushveld thicket between the Klein and Groot Winterberg ranges.  It is an existing services’ corridor and small stock and game farming predominate. The area from Kleinpoort to Grassridge includes intensive ecotourism associated with game farms.  it is a largely ‘unspoilt’ landscape being developed for ecotourism, conservation and its scenic qualities.  Small stock farming predominates, with widely dispersed farmsteads, many of which include structures and buildings that are older than sixty years. The area is known as a scenic ecotourism destination e.g., Kleinpoort Farmstall, Blaaubosch Game Farm and Lodge and the game farms at Noorslaagte, Krompoort, Kleinrivier, Mouton and Coegarivier.  At the entrance of the town you will find Kleinpoort Farmstall, followed by Two Water Safari’s, petrol station and General Dealer.  Opening times vary and are limited over weekends.
