Starry Nights Karoo Cottages are two semi-detached cottages that can be booked separately or together. Travellers can also book just one room depending on their needs and budget. The cottages can accommodate six people in a queen-size bed, a double bed, and two single beds.
The famous Karoo Artist's Café restaurant is right next to the cottages and all meals can be delivered directly from there to the cottages' front porch where the character of the town can be experienced. When you sit on the porch of Starry Nights Karoo Cottages, you don't need technology and televisions. A child plays in the puddle of water in Tobie Muller Street – the only one of two tarred streets in town. Sometimes, they drive through it with their wire carts that their grandfather made for them. Here, you see a mixture of old and new. Jews, Dutch, Boers, British, Coloureds, Griquas, Sotho's, and Portuguese live together in peace. Synergy. Sometimes, there are chickens walking in the street! And cattle. Sometimes, the shepherds ride along with their horses.
At night, the sky is starry. Years ago, Anna Neethling-Pohl said about her decision to retire in Philippolis, "I came here to pick the stars."

Starry Nights Karoo Cottages offers secure private parking and there are braai facilities in the courtyards of the two cottages. In the summer the orchard is a paradise with pomegranates, grapes, figs, apricots and lemons among indigenous trees.
