Rietbron DTEC
Like many other rural towns, there was also a long time that Rietbron was at the mercy of the effects of droughts and general neglect. Over time, houses that had been uninhabited for years were renovated by owners and gardening was done. The NPO organisation: Rietbron DTEC - Development, Tourism, Education & Conservation - also helped with the improvement of general cleanliness in the town, highlighting of historical places and education. Trees were replanted, gardens were laid out and several projects were launched in schools and in the community to improve the general appearance. Thanks to a very positive municipality, good progress is being made.
