Letterkop Uitsigpunt

Just behind Merweville's beautiful NG church is Letterkop and from the top you have a breathtaking view over Merweville. The local VLV has also built benches there so that you can enjoy the view with a picnic.

Getting to the top by car does take a while, because the road is stilt, mostly dirt but in places cement to help out the stilts. As one drives out of Merweville, towards Leeu-Gamka. Just outside the town, with the cemetery on your right is a dirt road to the left, you can see the white cement road up the hill. Drive in the direction of the cement road and just follow the winding road to the top, and please close the gates. The road is not suitable for low vehicles.
