The Karoo Development Foundation focuses on promoting collaboration between the four Karoo provinces: the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Northern Cape and southern Free State. Our current projects include the development of the Karoo Lamb Geographic Indicator to promote the more effective marketing of Karoo lamb; the creation of the Forgotten Highway Route from Tulbagh to Kuruman; several community development projects in Loxton and surrounding towns ; and the establishment of a paleontological museum in Graaff-Reinet.
