The annual "Golden Games" organised by the Western Cape Government is an exciting event which takes place at district and provincial level in which the Karoo Bossie teams take part.

Christo Farao, who has a passion for the aged and sport has co-ordinated this group of elderly "Merweliete" for the past 14 years.

In addition to the Golden Games sports events, this group of elderly men and women enjoy doing crafts and a variety of quilts, knitted blankets and murals are available to purchase during their opening times.
