Hadley Guest Farm

We invite you to come and share in the exceptional beauty and tranquillity of our surroundings. Here you can come to relax, recharge and experience the silence in our unspoiled nature. We live the Karoo hospitality at the foot of the Baviaanskloof mountains and will be happy to welcome you.

Hadley Guest Farm is about 50 km from Steytlerville and also 50 km from Patensie. The dirt road winds through the Great River. It would be wise to just confirm the condition of the road before you venture on our route.

Guests can stay in Grootrivier, Camper's Delight or Gooseberry's self-catering units (bedding and towels included) or camp at Grootrivier or Camper's Delight. With the exception of the campsites, the units can accommodate a total of 36 people.

Hadley Guest Farm is ideal for nature lovers and offers various activities. There is a very large variety of plant species here, including many medicinal plants. Hadley is an active cattle farm in which you can share. Other activities include: many hiking trails, mountain biking, swimming, fishing, mountain climbing, stargazing, guided picnics, horseback riding, 4x4 with vehicles or quadbikes, photography and feel-seeing. (Equipment not provided) We are also part of the popular 5-day Grootrivierpoort Walking Tour in collaboration with Bucklands Guest Farm. Hadley is also popular for horse riding groups, the Baviaans Cycle Tour and the FreedomChallenge Mountain Bike challenge. Groups who want to break away for team building are also welcome.
