Gert Engelbrecht or as he is known Gert Sarrisam is a Namaqualander through and through. Born on the farm Sarrisam is where he still lives and works. He has a passion for telling stories about the area so that it is preserved for posterity. Apart from his museum on his farm, he has also written three books.
