Rhynse kerkgebou

The Missionary station Amandelboom west of the Karee mountains was established when the community of 700 Basters requested the Rhenish Mission Society of Wuppertal for the service of a missionary and a teacher.

The church members grew quickly so this building is the third church they built to accommodate the growing members count. The church was consecrated on 17 Nov 1857.

Currently, the Church building is in private ownership and working towards being a theological research centre and is collecting books from all over.

If you want to see the inside of the church, arrange in advance with Cora on 082 463 3927
