Platbakkies is situated on the ever popular R355 between Kliprand and Springbok. Platbakkies Farm Retreat offers accommodation (with options of meals) as well as camping facilities, 4x4-, hiking-, cycling- and trailrunning routes. Platbakkies is a popular birding destination and the biodiversity in terms of fauna, flora and geology always amazes visitors.

Please note that we are not situated on the main roads, so be prepared to travel by gravel road.

In our strive towards a greener lifestyle, we already use solar- and wind power, sort and recycle rubbish and farm with free-range animals
