Who Are Family?

Family is everyone who calls a Karoo town home. Every business, every non-profit, every individual.

Every person here has a talent. Nobody is without value. And that is exactly what we need. Together, you are the strength that lets our towns thrive again.

What You Gain

• Your listings and events, visible to visitors, investors, and collaborators across the region.
• Inclusion in events, routes, and town pages. Opportunities find you.
• Access to the full Karoo network. See who is doing what, and how you connect.
• Smart System admin support. Update once, and it flows everywhere.
• Collaboration. The platform surfaces complementary concepts, so you find partners without searching.

Who Are Friends?

Friends are the people who come to explore the Karoo. Visitors, future residents, tourists, investors, curious minds. You don't need to live here. You just need to care enough to look.

What You Gain

• Full access to the platform. Browse listings, explore routes, discover events, plan your visit or move.
• The Karoo as one destination, not a collection of disconnected towns.
• Rate listings, leave feedback, help shape the platform.
• Access to tickets, bookings, and local experiences.
• A window into the real Karoo. Not a brochure. The actual community.

What Your Friendship Means

Every Friend registration strengthens Ons Karoo en Kontrei's ability to support our non-profits and changemakers collectively. Your presence shows demand. It shows the Karoo is a destination, a home, a community worth investing in.

By being a Friend, you empower the entire ecosystem.

Become a Friend Explore the Karoo. Plan your route. Discover our towns. And in doing so, help us build something bigger.
