Fred Turner Museum
The Fred Turner Museum in Loeriesfontein has much more than just windmills.
The Museum encompasses 4 themes:
- The original building houses the town's history
- The Fisherman's Hall contains the exhibition about the way of life of the nomadic farmer with complete wagon and tent exhibition
- There are farm implements on the site. Among other things, 30 different windmills and also an example of a windmill that ground grain.
- The Screen. Where peasant food is cooked in the traditional way.
During August and September, the museum and The Screen are open daily.
