Celebratio Pomegranate Farm

Celebratio Pomegranate Farm is a working pomegranate farm located halfway between Oudtshoorn and Calitzdorp. The guest accommodation includes a restored old farmhouse that can sleep 8 people and two cottages that can sleep four people each. The farmhouse and cottages are built around a swimming pool. During the season (usually from March to May), informative orchard and packinghouse tours are offered. Fresh pomegranates will also be sold during this time. For the rest of the year, 100% pure frozen pomegranate juice, a unique pomegranate “port” as well as skin care products made from pomegranate seed oil can be purchased on the farm.

The farm also hosts quarterly outdoor concerts. The farm is 21 km from Calitzdorp train station and 37 km from Oudtshoorn golf course. The property is 38 km from Cango Wildlife Ranch, 35 km from ArtKaroo Art Gallery and 35 km from CP Nel Museum.

The farmhouse has a lovely sun terrace and outdoor patio with a braai, while the two cottages each also have a private patio and braai area. Each unit has a fully equipped kitchen and living area. DSTV is available upon request, and there is free WiFi. Each unit has en-suite bathrooms and a bath. The rooms are wonderfully spacious, and each room has a hairdryer. The kitchens contain everything from a toaster and fridge to an oven, hob, microwave and kettle. Each unit has bed linen and towels; swimming towels are available upon request. For those times when you would rather not eat out, you can choose to braai or cook. Each unit also has an indoor fireplace. Guests are welcome to explore the farm on foot and meet the donkey family and the beloved family pig (an elderly potbelly). They are very fond of apples and carrots. The nearest airport is George Airport, 99 km from Celebratio Pomegranate Farm.
